What Is Restart A Heart Day?

Restart a Heart Day, held every year on October 16th, is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and lifesaving skills.

The day aims to teach people how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED), helping increase survival rates after cardiac arrest. First launched by the European Resuscitation Council in 2013, the campaign has since spread worldwide, with organisations such as the Resuscitation Council UK and local ambulance services leading training events in schools, workplaces, and communities.

Through free sessions and public demonstrations, Restart a Heart Day encourages everyone to gain the confidence and knowledge to act quickly in an emergency, as early CPR can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival.

Choose The Right Defibrillator

The chances of surviving a cardiac arrest increases greatly when a defibrillator is used, as every minute without CPR or defibrillation can reduce survival rates by up to 10%.

At Seal medical Supplies, we're committed to helping communities be prepared for emergencies by offering a wide range of high-quality defibrillators to suit every need.

Our selection includes pre-owned defibrillators, each checkedby our expert calibration team and supplied with new batteries and pads, as well as reliable semi-automatic and fully automatic models designed for ease of use in critical situations.

Whatever your setting, whether it's a workplace, school or public space, we make ut simple to find the right defibrillators to help save lives when every second counts.

Why is Learning CPR Important?

Learning CPR is important because it gives you the knowledge and confidence to take immediate action during a cardiac emergency. By performing CPR, you can keep blood and oxygen flowing to the brain and vital organs, greatly increasing a person’s chance of survival until professional medical help arrives.
