The STABIL Komfort 3 Section Hydraulic Treatment Couch provides a versatile treatment surface for physiotherapy, rehabilitation and general healthcare applications. Featuring foot-operated hydraulic height adjustment, it allows practitioners to position the couch between 48cm and 95cm without requiring an electrical power supply.
With a 225kg safe working load (SWL), adjustable backrest and footrest, and firm 40mm foam upholstery, this hydraulic treatment couch combines practical patient positioning with the strength and durability of the Komfort™ range.
Hydraulic height adjustment
The STABIL Komfort features a hydraulic foot pump that allows practitioners to adjust the height of the treatment surface to suit different procedures.
With a height range of 48cm to 95cm, the couch can be lowered for patient access or raised to provide a more comfortable working position during examinations and treatments.
The foot-operated mechanism requires no electrical connection, making it a practical choice for healthcare settings where a manually operated height-adjustable couch is preferred.
Flexible three-section positioning
The three-section treatment surface provides additional positioning options for patients during examinations, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
The adjustable backrest moves from -15° to +85°, allowing practitioners to position patients from a slight decline through to an almost upright position.
The footrest adjusts from -30° to +85°, providing further flexibility when supporting and positioning the lower limbs.
These independently adjustable sections allow the couch to accommodate a variety of treatment requirements.
Suitable for a range of healthcare environments
The STABIL Komfort 3 Section Hydraulic Treatment Couch is suitable for GP surgeries, NHS facilities, physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation centres and other professional healthcare settings.
Its adjustable treatment sections and hydraulic height control make it a practical choice for practitioners who perform a variety of examinations and hands-on therapies.
The combination of a supportive treatment surface and a 225kg safe working load makes it well suited to regular use in busy clinical environments.
Strong and supportive construction
The Komfort range is designed to combine strength and durability with comfortable, hard-wearing upholstery.
Measuring 191cm long and 63cm wide, the couch provides a practical treatment surface while maintaining a manageable footprint within the treatment room.
Firm 40mm foam provides supportive cushioning for patients and creates a stable surface for hands-on therapy and examination.
Retractable wheels and levelling feet
Retractable wheels allow the couch to be repositioned within the treatment room when required.
Once positioned, drop-down levelling feet provide improved stability compared with relying on braked castors alone.
This configuration offers convenient mobility while maintaining a stable treatment platform during clinical procedures.
Practical features for everyday treatment
A breathing hole with removable bung is incorporated into the treatment surface, providing additional comfort for patients lying face down.
Hanging rails are fitted to both sides of the plinth and can be used for attaching suitable belts and supports.
A couch roll holder is also supplied as standard, keeping disposable couch paper conveniently positioned for preparing the couch between patients.
