How the Mangar ELK Lifting Cushion Works

Supplied with its own battery-powered compressor, the Mangar Elk Emergency Lifting Cushion is a compact, portable lifting cushion, designed to assist a user safely back to their feet following a fall. Due to its complete portability and battery power, it can be used anywhere, indoors or outdoors, making it particularly effective in small rooms or tight spaces where other lifting equipment cannot be used.

Simple to operate with the help of a carer, the fallen person is gently rolled onto the cushion and helped to a sitting position. The Elk is then gradually inflated while the carer stands behind them for support, until the user reaches a high enough raised position to stand. This minimises the risks of accidents or injuries for both the carer and the user, especially when assisting a heavier person.
