The Pharmacy Medical POD313B Medication Locker provides secure individual storage for patients' and residents' own medicines. Its bottom-hinged door opens downwards, offering an alternative to conventional side-hinged lockers in hospitals, care homes and other healthcare premises.

Measuring 320mm high, 320mm wide and 160mm deep, the POD313B provides a compact compartment for designated bedside medication storage.

Bottom-hinged access

The POD313B is distinguished by its bottom-hinged door, which opens downwards rather than to the side.

This arrangement may be useful where the surrounding installation space makes a side-opening door less convenient.

The compact cabinet dimensions allow individual storage compartments to be positioned close to patients or residents, subject to local installation and access requirements.

Standard key cam locking

The standard POD313B is fitted with a single cam lock and supplied with two keys.

Locks are keyed to differ as standard, providing separate key access between individual lockers.

Master-key arrangements are available for healthcare organisations managing multiple units.

Alternative mechanical push-button code locks and RFID locking systems can also be specified.

Open internal storage compartment

The standard locker is supplied without an internal shelf, providing an uninterrupted storage compartment.

Optional shelving can be specified where facilities require a divided internal layout.

The POD313B is designed for individual medicine storage and may also accommodate appropriately sized personal items, depending on local policies.

Durable steel construction

Manufactured from 0.9mm cold-reduced mild steel, the POD313B features welded construction for regular use in care environments.

Its white epoxy powder-coated finish provides a smooth, wipe-clean surface.

The cabinet design minimises unnecessary recesses and folded edges, helping simplify routine cleaning.

Secure installation

Two fixing holes are provided at the rear of the locker for wall installation.

Fixings are not supplied and should be selected according to the wall construction and anticipated load.

The bottom-hinged door should have sufficient clearance to open fully without obstruction.
