Measuring 600mm high, 400mm wide and 200mm deep, the HECDC1012 features two adjustable internal shelves, heavy-duty steel construction and a secure locking mechanism.

Controlled Drugs Storage and Compliance

The HECDC1012 is specifically designed for the secure storage of controlled drugs in healthcare premises.

The cabinet conforms to BS2881:1989 Security Level One, the British Standard for cupboards used to store medicines in healthcare environments.

It also meets the manufacturer's stated requirements of the Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1973, supporting compliant controlled drug storage when correctly installed and used in accordance with applicable regulations.

Secure Lockable Medication Cabinet

The HECDC1012 features a single-point locking mechanism with a six-pin Euro-profile cylinder lock.

The lock incorporates anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump protection to help prevent unauthorised access to stored medication.

A key-retaining mechanism prevents the key from being removed while the cabinet door is open, and three keys are supplied as standard.

The cabinet also features a hardened steel deadbolt with an anti-saw facility for additional security.

Two Height-Adjustable Shelves

The cabinet includes two height-adjustable internal shelves, allowing healthcare professionals to organise controlled drugs and medication according to their storage requirements.

The adjustable shelving accommodates different medicine containers and packaging sizes, helping maintain an organised and accessible storage area.

A full-length steel piano hinge with a welded hinge pin provides a strong door connection and helps maximise access to the cabinet interior.

Wall-Mounted Design with Hinge Options

Measuring 600mm high, 400mm wide and 200mm deep, the HECDC1012 provides secure medication storage without occupying floor space.

The cabinet is available with either a right-hand or left-hand door hinge, allowing you to select the configuration best suited to your treatment room or medication storage area.

Four 10mm x 75mm sleeve anchors are supplied for secure wall installation.

Optional Warning Light

An optional warning light is available for the HECDC1012, providing an additional visual indication as part of the selected cabinet configuration.

The standard cabinet is supplied without a warning light unless this option is selected when ordering.

Durable White Powder-Coated Finish

The HECDC1012 features a white polyester powder-coated finish in RAL 9003 Gloss.

This provides a durable, easy-to-clean exterior suitable for professional healthcare environments where regular cleaning and secure medication storage are important.
