Measuring 250mm high, 300mm wide and 150mm deep, the HECDC100 combines robust steel construction with secure locking and compliance with relevant controlled drug storage requirements.

Controlled Drugs Storage and Compliance

The HECDC100 is designed specifically for the secure storage of controlled drugs in healthcare premises.

The cabinet complies with BS2881:1989 Security Level One, the British Standard for cupboards used to store medicines in healthcare environments.

It also meets the requirements of the Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1973, making it suitable for controlled drug storage when installed and used in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Secure Lockable Medication Cabinet

The HECDC100 features a single-point locking mechanism with a six-pin Euro-profile cylinder lock.

The lock incorporates anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump features, providing additional protection against unauthorised access.

Its key-retaining mechanism prevents the key from being removed while the cabinet door is open. Three keys are supplied as standard.

The cabinet also incorporates a hardened steel deadbolt with an anti-saw feature for additional security.

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction

Manufactured in Britain, the HECDC100 is constructed from 1.5mm thick cold-reduced mild steel with fully welded joints.

The cabinet features reinforced 3mm anchor plates at the fixing points and an anti-jemmy folded door return to help resist forced entry.

A full-length piano hinge with a welded hinge pin provides strength and allows a wider door opening for convenient access to stored medication.

Compact Wall-Mounted Design

With external dimensions of 250mm high, 300mm wide and 150mm deep, the HECDC100 is suitable for healthcare facilities requiring secure controlled drug storage in a compact space.

The cabinet includes one fixed door shelf and has no internal shelf, providing a straightforward storage arrangement.

Two wall-fixing sleeve anchors are supplied to support secure installation.

Durable White Powder-Coated Finish

The HECDC100 features a white polyester powder-coated finish in RAL 9003 Gloss.

This provides a durable, easy-to-clean exterior suitable for professional healthcare environments.

Installation:

Please note that we do not offer an installation service for this cabinet. However, installation is very simple and we supply all of the relevant number of bolts required to install our cabinets. Installation should be done by a competent person using the fixing bolts supplied.
