This Pharmacy Medical HECT220 MDS Drugs Trolley is built to a very robust design and will withstand the rigours of a long medicine round. With dimensions of 1100mm (height) x 730mm (width, 665mm without handles) x 570mm (depth), it features two braked and two un-braked swivel castors to allow easy steering of the trolley through narrow doorways and corridors.

What to Look for When Choosing MDS Drugs Trolleys

• Castors: Medical anti-static castors are used, all of which have bumpers and 2 of which are braked. They are fitted in place with shake-proof washers and bolted to a reinforced base, ensuring they can handle the abuse of a care home round.
• Hinges: Stainless steel fire door hinges are used on the doors. Doors often carry heavy liquids, etc. – this won’t be a problem.
• Locks: The same lock is used on this trolley as on controlled drugs cabinets, ensuring it is strong and reliable. There is also an extended base, helping to protect the key if it is left in the lock.
