The Pharmacy Medical HECMC421 Medicine Cabinet provides secure storage for general medicines with six internal shelves, six door shelves and separately lockable double doors. This lockable medicine cabinet offers 12 shelving positions within an 800mm-wide design, making it suitable for healthcare facilities requiring organised medication storage.

Measuring 600mm high, 800mm wide and 300mm deep, it provides a practical wall-mounted solution for GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and care homes.

Twelve shelving positions for flexible organisation

The HECMC421 combines six adjustable internal shelves with six door-mounted shelves.

The internal shelving provides storage for medicine bottles, cartons and other appropriately sized supplies, while the door shelves offer additional compartments for smaller items.

This arrangement allows healthcare professionals to organise different medication types within a single secure cabinet.

Individually secured double doors

Each door on the HECMC421 is fitted with its own lock, allowing the two doors to be secured separately.

This distinguishes it from the HECMC411, which offers a standard double-door locking arrangement.

The key-retaining mechanism prevents removal of a key while its associated door remains open, supporting secure access procedures.

Compact-height double-door design

At 600mm high and 800mm wide, the HECMC421 provides useful storage capacity without requiring the height or width of the larger double-door cabinets.

Its 300mm depth makes it suitable for wall mounting in clinical storage rooms where space must be used efficiently.

Security locking and steel construction

The HECMC421 incorporates BS3621-compliant key-retaining cylinder locks to help restrict unauthorised access to medicines.

It is manufactured from welded 0.9mm mild steel and finished in white powder coating.

An anti-jemmy folded return provides additional protection around the door hinges.

The cabinet conforms to BS2881:1989 Security Level One for medicine storage cupboards in healthcare premises.
