The Pharmacy Medical HECMC413 Medicine Cabinet provides secure storage for general medicines across six internal shelves and six door shelves. This lockable medicine cabinet combines 12 shelving positions with wide double-door access, helping healthcare teams organise different medication packaging within a single unit.

Measuring 600mm high, 1000mm wide and 300mm deep, it is suitable for pharmacies, hospitals, GP surgeries and larger treatment rooms.

Twelve shelving positions

The HECMC413 features six adjustable internal shelves alongside six additional shelves fitted within the cabinet doors.

Internal shelving provides space for medicine cartons, bottles and other appropriately sized supplies, while door shelving offers additional positions for smaller containers.

This arrangement helps staff separate medication stocks and use the available cabinet space efficiently.

Wide double-door access

The 1000mm width provides a substantial storage area without requiring the 900mm height of larger cabinets.

Its double-door arrangement allows access to the internal shelving and provides additional storage within the doors themselves.

For facilities preferring full-depth internal shelving without door compartments, the HECMC403 provides an alternative within the same external dimensions.

Key-retaining security locking

The HECMC413 incorporates a BS3621-compliant key-retaining cylinder locking system.

The key-retaining mechanism prevents key removal while the cabinet remains open, supporting secure access procedures.

The manufacturer's standard locking specification includes anti-pick and anti-drill protection, with three keys supplied.

A hardened steel deadbolt with anti-saw protection provides additional resistance against attempted forced entry.

Welded steel construction

Manufactured in the United Kingdom, the cabinet uses welded 0.9mm cold-reduced mild steel.

Its white gloss powder-coated finish provides a durable surface suitable for routine cleaning.

An anti-jemmy folded return along the hinge side helps protect against forced door removal.

Security standards and wall installation

The HECMC413 conforms to BS2881:1989 Security Level One for cupboards used to store medicines in healthcare premises.

The cabinet is supplied fully assembled and designed for secure wall mounting.

An optional warning light is available, alongside an ABLOY® CLIQ electronic locking upgrade.
