The Pharmacy Medical HECMC100 Medicine Cabinet provides secure, space-efficient storage for medicines in healthcare environments. Measuring just 370mm high, 275mm wide and 245mm deep, this compact lockable medicine cabinet is ideal for GP surgeries, treatment rooms, pharmacies and other clinical settings where wall space is limited.

Manufactured in the UK from welded steel, the HECMC100 features one full-depth internal shelf, a key-retaining security lock and a durable white powder-coated finish.

Compact design with full-depth internal shelving

The HECMC100 is designed for healthcare facilities requiring secure medicine storage without installing a larger cabinet.

Its compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for smaller treatment rooms, consultation areas and medication storage points.

One adjustable full-depth internal shelf provides two storage levels, allowing medicines and other appropriate clinical supplies to be organised within the cabinet.

Unlike models with additional door shelving, the HECMC100 uses the full internal depth for its main storage compartments.

Key-retaining security lock

The cabinet incorporates a BS3621-compliant security locking system with a Euro-profile cylinder.

Anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump protection helps safeguard medicines against unauthorised access.

The key-retaining mechanism prevents the key from being removed while the cabinet door is open, encouraging users to secure the door before removing the key.

Three keys are supplied as standard.

The cylinder is independently tested to BS EN1303:2005 and carries Kitemark KM532920 and TS007 1 Star certification.

A hardened steel mortise deadbolt with anti-saw protection and a 14mm bolt throw provides additional security.

Welded steel construction for healthcare environments

Manufactured from 0.9mm thick cold-reduced mild steel, the HECMC100 features welded construction for strength and durability.

An anti-jemmy folded return runs along the hinge side of the door, helping protect against forced entry and preventing door removal if the hinge is attacked.

Additional reinforcement around the lock fixing provides further structural support.

The cabinet is finished in RAL 9003 White Gloss polyester powder coating, creating a wipe-clean surface suitable for routine cleaning in clinical environments.

BS2881:1989 compliant medicine storage

The HECMC100 conforms to BS2881:1989 Security Level One, the British Standard covering cupboards used for storing medicines in healthcare premises.

This makes it suitable for general medicine storage in professional settings such as GP surgeries, hospitals, pharmacies and care homes.

Its lockable design supports controlled access to medicines while providing a compact alternative to larger storage cabinets.

Wall-mounted installation

The HECMC100 is designed for secure wall fixing, allowing medication to be stored away from worktops and other frequently used clinical surfaces.

Four fixing positions accommodate 10mm x 75mm sleeve anchors.

The cabinet is supplied fully assembled, reducing preparation before installation.

Its right-hand hinged door provides access to the full-depth internal shelf, while the compact footprint allows installation in smaller clinical rooms.
