CoolMed CMWF29 Ward Fridge - Solid Door - 29 Litre

The CoolMed CMWF29 Ward Fridge is a compact 29-litre solid door refrigerator designed for storing food and beverages in hospital wards, clinics and staff areas. Its small footprint makes it particularly useful where space is limited.

Operating between 1°C and 5°C, the fridge combines digital temperature monitoring, audible and visual alarms, secure storage and fan-assisted cooling to help maintain a controlled environment for food and drink.

Compact Ward Fridge Design

With a 29-litre net capacity, the CMWF29 provides practical refrigerated storage without occupying the space required by a larger freestanding unit.

Its compact dimensions make it suitable for countertop installation, while rear brackets are provided if wall mounting is required. This provides additional installation flexibility in wards, staff rooms and clinics where available floor or worktop space may be limited.

Temperature Control and Monitoring

An external digital controller and temperature display allow staff to monitor the internal temperature without opening the solid door.

The fridge operates within a temperature range of 1°C to 5°C and incorporates an air-circulating ventilator. The internal fan helps stabilise the temperature and supports a rapid return towards the required temperature after the door has been opened.

Audible and Visual Alarms

The CoolMed CMWF29 incorporates audible and visual temperature alarms to alert staff if the internal temperature moves outside the required range.

Power failure and door open alarms provide additional monitoring, helping staff identify conditions that could affect the contents of the fridge.

Secure Solid Door Storage

The solid door is fitted with a lock and supplied with two keys, providing secure storage for food and beverages kept within the fridge.

LED interior lighting provides clear visibility of the contents while using energy-efficient illumination.

Designed for Wards and Clinical Environments

The CMWF29 is particularly suited to hospital wards, clinics and staff rooms requiring a compact refrigerator for food and drink.

It can be used for food and beverages intended for patients with special dietary requirements or to provide refrigerated storage for staff refreshments.

This ward fridge is NOT designed for storing medicines or vaccines. A dedicated medical refrigerator should be used where pharmaceutical cold-chain storage is required.

Shelving and Internal Storage

The CMWF29 is fitted with two adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves plus a bottom shelf, allowing the internal layout to be adapted to different food and beverage storage requirements.

The combination of adjustable shelving, LED lighting and fan-assisted cooling provides a practical internal layout for regular ward use.
