With automatic self-testing, escalating energy and an IP55-rated design, the Powerheart G5 combines straightforward operation with robust protection for a range of environments.

Fully automatic shock delivery

The Powerheart G5 analyses the patient's heart rhythm to determine whether defibrillation is required.

When a shockable rhythm is detected, the fully automatic defibrillator delivers treatment without requiring the responder to manually press a shock button.

Clear voice and text prompts

Easy-to-follow voice and text prompts provide step-by-step instructions throughout the rescue process.

This combination of audible and visual guidance helps the responder follow the required steps during Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation.

Escalating shock energy

The Powerheart G5 uses a Biphasic Truncated Exponential waveform and can increase the energy level if an initial lower-energy shock is unsuccessful.

The typical time for initial analysis and charging is 15 seconds.

Automatic self-testing

Daily, weekly and monthly automatic self-tests monitor the condition of the Powerheart G5 and help ensure the defibrillator remains ready for use.

An LED indicator provides visual confirmation of the AED's operational status, while a separate battery indicator displays the remaining battery capacity.

Non-polarised adult pads

The Powerheart G5 is supplied with non-polarised adult electrode pads, simplifying pad placement during an emergency.

The adult electrode pads have a 2-year lifespan from the date of manufacture.

Paediatric use

The Powerheart G5 can be used on younger patients when fitted with compatible infant/child electrode pads.

Paediatric electrode pads are available separately and are not included with the standard defibrillator.

Battery

The battery has a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture.

Rescue data

Usage information can be stored by the defibrillator and transferred to a computer through its Universal Serial Bus (USB) port for post-event analysis.

Optional CPR feedback

The Powerheart G5 is available with an iCPR device for responders requiring real-time CPR feedback.

When equipped with the compatible CPR device, the AED provides feedback on chest compression rate and depth.
