Knife Crime Awareness Week 18th - 24th May 2026

Knife Crime Awareness Week is a national initiative focused on raising awareness of the impact of knife-related violence and promoting education, prevention, and community safety. It highlights the importance of collective action from schools, organisations, emergency services, and the public in reducing serious violence and supporting safer environments for everyone.

The campaign also draws attention to the urgent reality of catastrophic bleeding injuries, where rapid intervention can be the difference between life and death. In these situations, immediate access to life-saving equipment is critical. Bleed control kits and cabinets provide essential tools that can help manage severe bleeding before emergency services arrive, supporting faster response in critical moments.
