About Semi-Automatic Defibrillators
Discover our range of semi-automatic defibrillators (AEDs), designed to deliver fast, reliable life-saving support in every location, such as workplaces, public spaces, schools, healthcare settings, and many more.
How semi-automatic defibrillators work
There are two types of AEDs: semi-automatic and fully automatic. A semi-automatic AED will advise the first responder when the shock is required, so the user can administer it by pressing the button. These devices will still give straightforward instructions, similar to the fully automatic AED, on when to stand clear and when to push the shock button.
Semi-automatic AEDs provide the first responder with complete control over the shocks, allowing them to check everything is in order beforehand, and generally have a faster time to shock due to the responder having to initiate it themselves.
AED brands you can rely on
Our semi-automatic defibrillators from trusted manufacturers, including Philips, Zoll, Mindray, Cardiac Science, HeartSine, Defibtech, Mediana, Vivest, and CU Medical (iPAD), provide intuitive voice prompts and dependable performance in a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) emergency.
