This Keeler Wall Mounted Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope Unit offers a compact, space-saving diagnostic solution for ward, surgery, consulting room or casualty use. Its strong, coiled, tangle-free cable allows instrument use up to 3 metres from the transformer, while its robust construction ensures reliable performance even in the busiest clinical environments.

These medical instruments illuminate automatically when removed from the cradle, with LED confirmation for quick visual reassurance.

Apertures, graticules & filters

• Wide angle: Illuminates the largest area of fundus for the best possible general diagnosis through a dilated pupil
• Intermediate: Permits easier access through an undilated pupil and in peripheral examination, particularly useful in paediatric examination
• Macular: Designed specifically for examination of the macular region of the fundus where a larger beam would create excessive pupillary reaction or discomfort
• Slit: Used primarily to determine retinal elevations and depressions, and may also be used to assess anterior chamber depth
• Fixation cross: Projects a graticule onto the retina for assessment of the degree and direction of eccentric fixation
• Red free: Filters out red light to examine blood vessels in fine detail, silhouetting vessels black against a dark green background
• Cobalt blue: Used in conjunction with fluorescein dye for the detection and examination of corneal scars and abrasions
