Fully automatic shock delivery

The Lifeline Fully Automatic AED analyses the patient's heart rhythm to determine whether defibrillation is required.

When a shockable rhythm is identified, the AED automatically delivers treatment without requiring the responder to press a shock button.

Clear voice guidance

Once the defibrillator is switched on using the green power button, clear voice instructions guide the responder through operation of the AED.

This straightforward guidance is designed to make the defibrillator accessible to both trained and untrained responders during an emergency.

CPR support

A built-in metronome provides guidance during Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), helping the responder maintain a consistent rhythm while performing chest compressions.

Pre-connected adult pads

Adult electrode pads are pre-connected to the defibrillator, helping reduce preparation time during an emergency.

The electrode cable is approximately 122cm long, providing flexibility when positioning the pads on the patient.

Automatic self-testing

The Lifeline AED performs daily, weekly and monthly automatic self-tests to check that its circuitry is functioning correctly.

The defibrillator also checks for the presence of electrode pads daily. Additional unit and battery system tests can be initiated manually when required.

Rescue-ready status indicator

A green status indicator provides an at-a-glance confirmation that the defibrillator has passed its self-test and is ready for use.

A red indicator shows that an error has been detected and the AED requires attention.

Robust IP54-rated design

The Lifeline Fully Automatic AED has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP54, providing protection against dust and water splashes when the battery pack is installed.

The standard Lifeline battery provides approximately 5 years of standby life.

It is capable of delivering up to 125 shocks or providing up to 8 hours of continuous operation.

Shock delivery

The Defibtech Lifeline uses an impedance-compensated Biphasic Truncated Exponential waveform.

It delivers a fixed energy level of 150J, with a typical charge time of less than 9 seconds when used with the standard battery pack.
