The Chiltern Invadex TRT3 Children's Shower Trolley provides a secure bathing platform for children up to 122cm (4ft) tall who require assistance with showering and personal care. Its compact 1600 x 720mm design combines a padded bathing area with smooth hydraulic height adjustment, allowing carers to establish a suitable working height.
Fold-down cot sides, braked castors and a large drainage pipe provide practical functionality for hospitals, specialist care facilities and other professional care environments.
Hydraulic height adjustment
The TRT3 features smooth hydraulic height adjustment, allowing the bathing surface to be raised or lowered according to the requirements of the patient and carer.
Adjusting the trolley to an appropriate working height can help reduce the need for carers to overreach while providing assisted showering and personal care.
Electric height adjustment is also available as an optional alternative to the standard hydraulic system.
Designed for children up to 122cm
With an overall size of 1600 x 720mm, the TRT3 provides a compact bathing platform specifically suited to children.
The padded bathing area can comfortably accommodate children up to 122cm (4ft) tall, making the trolley suitable for paediatric care environments where a full-size adult shower trolley is unnecessary.
The trolley has a safe working load (SWL) of 190kg (30 stone).
Padded liner and head cushion
A padded liner creates a comfortable bathing surface for children who require showering while lying down.
The trolley also incorporates a padded head cushion to provide additional support during personal care.
Its durable plastic-coated finish provides a practical surface for use within professional bathing and care environments.
Fold-down cot sides
Fold-down cot sides provide carers with easier access to the bathing surface when transferring or attending to the patient.
Safety latches secure the cot sides when raised, providing additional security while the trolley is in use.
The combination of accessible cot sides and a height-adjustable bathing surface supports assisted patient handling and personal care.
Braked castors for mobility
Braked castors allow the TRT3 to be manoeuvred between care and bathing areas when required.
Once the trolley has been positioned, the castor brakes help prevent unwanted movement during assisted showering and patient transfers.
Large drainage pipe
The TRT3 features a large drainage pipe designed to discharge wastewater into a suitable domestic outlet.
This removes the need for trolley-specific plumbing, providing greater flexibility when incorporating the shower trolley into an appropriate accessible bathing environment.
