Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 Replacement Battery

With the ability to power up to 500 shocks, this replacement lithium battery is designed for use with the Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 defibrillators. Equipped to provide a 4 year operational lifespan, the Powerheart G5 battery has a reserve of 9 more shocks after the defibrillator indicates a low battery warning. This gives you enough time to obtain a replacement G5 battery ready for use.

The Powerheart G5 AED uses a medical-grade Intellisense lithium battery for high performance and peace of mind. Each Intellisense battery can typically deliver up to 420 shocks and at least nine shocks after the AED indicates the battery is low.

Please note that the battery has a date of manufacture printed on and can be stored for upto 5 years from the date of manufacture before being inserted into your AED.

Important note: If your G5 AED is beeping and the rescue ready symbol is RED please ensure that you have also checked the expiry date of your electrode pads. Electrodes that have expired will cause the device to beep and show a RED rescue ready symbol. To check the level of your existing battery you can open the lid of the AED and view the battery meter. You will see 4 green LED’s and each green LED that lights up means that you have 25% battery life so if all 4 are lit then the battery is 100% full.
